HSFB: Dilbert’s big game not enough for Dolphins

Battery Creek scored twice late, but that was not enough to overcome a strong offensive attack from Hanahan as the Hawks defeated the Dolphins 42-14 at Dolphin Stadium Friday night.

Jeremiah Dilbert had a big night for the Dolphins, rushing for 190 yards on 25 carries with two scores, but Creek managed only 253 yards of total offense. Kendall McMillon led the Dolphin defense, picking up six tackles and solo tackle for a loss, while Quatrell Livingston also had six stops, and Damian Freeman had five.

Battery Creek’s scheduled contest against Bishop England on Friday has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 case within the Dolphins’ program. The Dolphins (1-4, 1-1) will be back in action at home against Oceanside Collegiate on Oct. 22.
