Hilton Head Prep volleyball made quick work of Holy Trinity on Tuesday, sweeping the Mighty Lions 3-0 (25-18, 25-15, 25-11) on the road.
Ashley Wilmot had a big night with eight kills and eight digs to lead a strong HHP attack, while Anna Scott added eight kills, and Haley Majors had seven. Gracie Palumbo-Alkire was strong in the middle with five kills and five blocks, and Gabby Bettez (15 assists) and Ella Clark (14 assists) guided the offense. Annie Braun served up four aces, and Haylee Hopman picked up 10 more digs to add to her school-record career total for the Dolphins.
Freshman Emily Ruth Wilson led Holy Trinity with four kills and three blocks, and Rachel Cain had a team-high four aces for the Mighty Lions.
HHP (7-2) hosts rival Hilton Head Christian Academy on Wednesday, while Holy Trinity (2-3) travels to John Paul II on Thursday.
