Hilton Head High girls tennis opened its season with a 6-1 victory over Heritage Academy in a cross-island clash Thursday.
The Seahawks swept the five singles courts in straight sets and breezed through the No. 2 doubles match with Heritage claiming its lone victory at No. 1 doubles.
HHIHS (1-0) hosts Lucy Beckham in a matchup of the top teams in Region 7-4A at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
