YOUTH BSB: Bluffton American, Numssen neutralize Sumter at state tourney

The Bluffton American All-Stars took control early and rolled to a 10-1 win over Sumter American on Sunday to improve to 2-0 at the 2021 Dixie Youth Baseball Minors (10U) state tournament at Timken Sports Complex in Union.

After allowing its first run of the tournament in the top of the first, Bluffton answered with three in the bottom half and pulled away for the lopsided victory. The Lowco squad continued its outstanding pitching, as three pitchers combined to allow just three hits a day after two pitchers teamed up for a no-hitter in the team’s opener.
