HS BSOC: JPII stays hot with win over Bucs

John Paul II boys soccer continued its strong play with a 4-1 home win over Bridges Prep on Thursday.

Anthony Hill scored a pair of goals, and Malone Kinard-Huisinger and Renzo Cedeno each added one for the Golden Warriors. Nic Richardson and Austin Floyd had assists for JPII.

The Golden Warriors controlled possession and continued their all-around cohesive play coming off an emotional win over Beaufort High, taking advantage of their limited opportunities to score on four of their seven shots on goal.

Braden Beck scored the lone goal for the Buccaneers.

JPII (5-1) was back in action Friday at Philip Simmons.
