Ella Christie shined in the midfield, picking up seven ground balls and winning five draws while Olive controlled four and added an assist. Mae Williams anchored the Seahawk defense, and Megan Rickenback made three saves in goal.

“Despite over a week since we last played, our offense was able to find a nice rhythm and create a number of scoring opportunities,” HHIHS coach Kara Cooke said. “We continue to improve and put the pieces together, which is exciting as we head into the second half of our schedule.”

Hilton Head (4-2) travels to May River on Monday for a rematch with the Sharks.
