Bluffton boys soccer took control from the outset and rolled to a 3-0 road win at Beaufort High to open Region 7-4A play Tuesday.
The Bobcats took advantage of some early scoring opportunities to build a 3-0 halftime lead and locked down on defense to ensure the Eagles couldn’t get back in it.

Brayan Murillo scored a pair of goals, converting assists from Aaron Rodriguez and Bryce Robertson, and Edinson Alvarez converted a penalty for the Bobcats, who took 18 shots.
Bluffton’s stout defense has not allowed a goal in three games this season, and the Bobcats limited a potent Beaufort High team to just three shots on goal. Freshman keeper Marvin Rodriguez saved all three threats to post the clean sheet.
Bluffton (3-0, 1-0) travels to Hilton Head High for a key region matchup Friday.
Beaufort (2-2, 0-1) hosts James Island for a region game Tuesday.
