Hilton Head Prep baseball earned its second shutout in as many days Tuesday, blanking the Coastal Hurricanes on the road 13-0.
The Dolphins plated two runs in each of the first two innings before adding three more in the fifth and finishing off the game with a six-run seventh. Pitchers Tommy Stauffer, Reese Malon, and Steele Burd combined on a masterful one-hit performance.
“All three guys on the mound were in command,“ HHP coach Chris Wells said. “Tommy, Reese, and Steele worked ahead and challenged the strike zone.”
Harrison Green had a superb day at the plate, going 4-for-4 and driving in two runs. Luke Foley added a pair of hits and led the squad with four RBI.
“Harrison had a heck of a game,” Wells said. “He really is a rock for this team and it was special to see him have quality at-bat after quality at-bat tonight.”
