HS BSOC: Eagles open with shutout of crosstown rival Dolphins

Beaufort High boys soccer made the crosstown trip to face rival Battery Creek on Tuesday and opened its season with a 4-0 road win over the Dolphins.

Playing in a cold rain on a sloppy surface, four different Eagles scored goals to complement a dominant defensive showing.

Chappell Doctor, Christian Alvarado-Ruiz, Luke Rhatigan, and Anderson Jones all tallied a goal to lead the Eagles.

Goalkeeper Joseph Caprarola (6) and Warren Gibson (3) combined to preserve the clean sheet for Beaufort.

Beaufort travels to Goose Creek for non-region match on Friday.
