The USCB men’s golf team was looking to defend its Oldfield Classic championship this week, and while the Sand Sharks did not find themselves at the top of the leaderboard, USCB senior standout Dawson Peters did, shooting a combined 6-under 210 to capture his second win of the season.
Peters posted steady rounds of 71 and 69 on Monday, then completed the job wiht a 2-under 70 in the final round to edge teammate Jacob Thomas by one shot.
