Hudson Kramer set a school record with eight goals as May River boys lacrosse made the short trip across town and delivered a 20-0 beating to rival Bluffton on Monday.
Kramer’s whopping eight goals marked the most for a player in May River’s relatively brief program history, and fellow seniors Rob Gadomski (four goals, two assists) and Ethan Sotiropoulos (three goals) also contributed to the impressive offensive importance.
Long stick midfielder Jacob Bollinger added another goal, while Thomas Raisch scored his first varsity goal and Reece Simonson added two goals and an assist for his first varsity scoring. Whitt Beebe rounded out the scoring for the Sharks with a goal.
Junior midfielder Andrew Dromsky notched two assists, and Dave Lavery also added an assist.
May River defenders Rett Harrell, Will Wilson, and Caleb Tkaczyk recorded 12 takeaways on the night, and the goalie combo of Corbin Wiltse and Preston Abernathy recorded the shutout.
The Sharks (3-1) host Hilton Head High in a key region matchup at 7 p.m. Thursday.
