Bluffton girls lacrosse scored a dominant home win Thursday, crushing region foe James Island 16-6.
Talia Vaught erupted for seven goals to lead the Bobcats’ offense. Zoe Paulmeier scored four goals, Savannah Kramer netted three, and Sophie Chambella added a pair.

The Bobcats were dialed in on the draws, controlling 10 faceoffs in the contest. Brilee Lawson delivered in the cage, recording a 50% save percentage against the Trojans.
Bluffton (1-1, 1-1) travels to crosstown rival May River on Monday.
