HSBBB: Well-rested Warriors earn another tough region win

After 16 days off, it was the same Whale Branch boys who showed up Tuesday night to grind out a tough 40-30 win at St. John’s.

The Warriors have found themselves in plenty of defensive struggles this season, and it was more of the same against the Islanders. Whale Branch led 5-1 after an ugly first quarter before opening up a 17-5 halftime advantage.
