HSBBB: Dolphins lock in, slam St. Andrew’s by 30

Hilton Head Prep’s boys made it three wins in as many games since returning from a month-long layoff with a 70-40 rout of host St. Andrew’s on Wednesday in Savannah.

The Dolphins’ offense was clicking from the start, as Prep put up 28 points in the first quarter and cruised to the easy win.

JJ Hayes turned in a dominant performance with 26 points, 15 rebounds, and four assists to lead the Dolphins, while Kane Eanes added 15 points, and Jayden Chance collected 14 points, 10 assists, and three steals. Ryan Mikell added nine points, draining three of the Dolphins’ 12 3-pointers. 

HHP (8-2) hosts rival Hilton Head Christian Academy in a region matchup Friday.
