May River volleyball maintained its two-game lead for second place in Region 7-4A and a guaranteed playoff berth with a 3-1 win at Lucy Beckham on Tuesday.
The Sharks got a monster night from Addison Black to help secure a 25-21, 25-13, 23-25, 25-22 victory over the Bengals. Black racked up a season-high 19 kills and a team-best 19 digs to lead the way, while Lillian Long added seven kills and five aces.

The Sharks (9-1, 8-1 region) travel to James Island on Tuesday aiming to clinch a playoff spot with a second win over the third-place Trojans. May River won the first meeting 3-1 on Sept. 17.
