Bluffton’s volleyball team was competitive in all three sets but came up short in a 3-0 loss at James Island on Tuesday.
The Bobcats couldn’t quite get over the top in three back-and-forth sets, falling to the Trojans 25-19, 25-18, 25-22.

Talia Vaught led the Bobcats with seven kills, followed by Kaela Morillo with four. Faith Paxton had a team-high 10 digs and had a solid night on serve receive, and Madison Pirog had 10 assists.
The Bobcats host rival May River on Thursday.
