HSFB: Warriors spread it around in second straight shutout

Whale Branch continued its dominant start to the season with a 52-0 rout of Military Magnet on the road Friday. 

Joseph Hicks led a powerful rushing attack with 96 yards and three touchdowns on just five carries, as five different players scored rushing touchdowns for the Warriors. 

Jaylen Reeves added 31 yards and a touchdown on four carries, Jadon Grant had six carries for 55 yards and a TD, and Mason Griffin had 45 yards and a TD on seven carries. 

Kicker Henry Tome even got in on the action with 38 yards and a TD on three carries, and he made 5-of-6 PATs and booted a 39-yard field goal.

Clifton Major had a fumble recovery for a Warriors defense that pitched its second straight shutout. Whale Branch has outscored its first two opponents 85-0.

The Warriors (2-0) travel to Baptist Hill for a matchup of undefeated teams next week.
