John Paul II girls tennis lost a tough 6-3 decision to Colleton Prep on Tuesday in Walterboro.
Trice McClure continued her outstanding season at No. 1 singles with a dominant victory, but Madi Johnson provided the only other singles win for JPII at No. 4. McClure also teamed up with Samantha Reilly for a win at No. 1 doubles.
JPII travels to South Beach Racquet Club at 4 p.m. Thursday for a match with perennial power Hilton Head Prep.
