HSFB: Warriors check in at No. 9 in preseason poll

The preseason South Carolina Prep Media Football Poll was released Tuesday, with high school sports journalists from around the Palmetto State voting on the top 10 teams in each public school classification.

Whale Branch was the only Lowco team to crack the top 10, debuting at No. 9 to enter its first season playing in Class 1A. May River and Beaufort High each received votes in Class 4A but fell short of making the top 10.
