Hilton Head Prep girls tennis began its state title defense with a 7-2 victory over John Paul II on Tuesday at Berkeley Hall.
The reigning SCISA 2A champion Dolphins swept all six singles courts in straight sets and won at No. 3 doubles, while JPII picked up two doubles victories.
