HSVB: HHCA splits with Savannah squads

Hilton Head Christian Academy volleyball split a pair of matches against visitors from Savannah on Tuesday, falling to Savannah Christian Prep and defeating Habersham. 

The Eagles opened the night with a 2-0 (25-16, 25-18) loss to the Raiders. Amelia Auld dished out 12 assists, and three HHCA players recorded three kills apiece.

HHCA salvaged the evening with a hard-fought 2-1 (25-22, 21-25, 15-11) victory over Habersham. Kate Booth racked up 11 kills and Abby Peduzzi added seven to lead the Eagles, while Auld handed out 22 assists, and Mackenzie Buchter served six aces. 

HHCA (2-3) travels to Savannah Country Day on Wednesday for a tri-match with the Hornets and Richmond Hill.
