Hilton Head Christian Academy volleyball gave new head coach Drew Dale his first official victory Thursday, as the Eagles rallied from a two-set deficit for a thrilling 3-2 (24-26, 15-25, 25-19, 25-23, 15-13) victory over visiting Calvary Day.
Kate Booth and Abby Peduzzi led the comeback for the Eagles, as Booth racked up a team-high 14 kills and Peduzzi delivered five of her 12 kills in the third set to help keep HHCA alive.
Amelia Auld dished out 38 assists, and Mackenzie Buchter served four aces for HHCA.
The Eagles (1-2) host Savannah Christian and Habersham School for a tri-match starting at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
