Bridges Prep softball continued its undefeated start with a 13-3 road win over Palmetto Scholars Academy on Friday.
The Buccaneers put up nine runs in the first, and that was plenty of support for Jenna Shipley, who pitched all six innings and struck out 14. She allowed three runs on three hits and four walks.
Mackenzie Hamrick’s three-run inside-the-park homer started the scoring in the first. Baylee Stevenson had two RBIs and scored twice, and Shipley scored three runs and drove in one for the Bucs, who drew 13 walks.
