Hilton Head High boys lacrosse won a wild shootout at May River on Wednesday, rallying in the fourth quarter for a 19-17 victory.
Whit Molloy racked up seven goals and two assists, and Max Boyer had four goals and six assists to lead the Seahawks. Kyle Kirkpatrick added four goals and two assists, and Enzo Saritelli contributed two goals and an assist.
Brooks van Esselstyn led the way for the Sharks with seven goals and three assists, while Rob Gadomski added two goals and three assists, and Hudson Kramer and Andrew Dromsky each had two goals and two assists.
May River’s Sean Morris made 16 saves to keep the Sharks in it, and they took the lead into the fourth quarter before the Seahawks surged.
HHIHS (3-1) hosts Cusabo at 7 p.m. Friday.
May River (4-1) travels to Waccamaw at 7 p.m. Friday.
