Bluffton softball opened the regular season with a 19-5 road win over Battery Creek on Monday.
Isabella Spears and Parker Ray each had four hits to lead the way for the Bobcats, who broke open a tied game with seven runs in the fourth and added nine in the fifth to finish off the Dolphins. Marissa Majorkiewicz and Katie Ryan each added a pair of hits for Bluffton.
Ray pitched four solid innings, allowing five runs, and Alyssa Rose closed it out with a 1-2-3 fifth inning.
