John Paul II’s girls celebrated their six seniors with a 56-24 home win over Thomas Heyward on Tuesday.
One of those six seniors, Tkai DeVore posted a triple-double in her final home game at JPII, collecting 20 points, 17 rebounds, 10 assists, and five steals.
Bella Termini added 11 points, Jasmine Hamilton contributed eight points and five rebounds, and Abby Quinty had five points and six boards.
“It was an emotional night for us with it being the last time six of our girls would play on their home court,” JPII coach Karen Floyd said. “We are going to miss our seniors so much.”
Olivia Pace scored eight points to lead the Rebels.
JPII (21-4, 7-3) will open the SCISA 2A playoffs Saturday, while THA finishes with a 2-16 record overall and a 1-9 mark in region play.
