Bluffton’s boys took a one-point lead to the fourth quarter but couldn’t take care of the ball down the stretch in a 56-53 loss at Colleton County on Friday.
Tyler Rice scored 14 points, Lee Kirkland added 12, and Eric Eastham contributed 10 for the Bobcats.
Stephan Gadson scored 15 points, and Alex Sherrill added 11 to lead the Cougars, who improved to 2-0 in Region 7-4A play.
