HSBBB: Dolphins make quick work of Rebels on the road

Hilton Head Prep’s boys ran their region record to 2-0 with a 72-41 win at Thomas Heyward Academy on Tuesday night. 

The Dolphins jumped out to a 28-9 first-quarter lead and stretched the advantage to 42-11 at the half. 

In a game where all HHP players received minutes, Tyrone Calloway led the way with 24 points. Stone McDonald contributed 17, while Luke Foley and Carson King did an excellent job defending and rebounding for the Dolphins. 

Louie Smith and Ely Mitchell tallied eight points each for the Rebels. 

UP NEXT

HHP (8-2, 2-0) hosts Memorial Day at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

THA (2-6, 0-2) hosts Hilton Head Christian Academy at 7:45 p.m. Friday.
