May River’s girls were dominant from the very beginning Friday, beating Hilton Head High 60-16 and holding the Seahawks to just two points in the third quarter.
It was an impressive bounce-back effort from the Sharks after a blowout loss at Bluffton a week ago. May River was without guards Emma Peluso and Olivia Peluso for that one, but they were back Friday and made their presence known.
Emma Peluso was a force to be reckoned with, scoring 21 of May River’s 60 points, while Chynna Sneed added 12 points, and Olivia Peluso and Jordan Bigham added eight each.
Kenzie Ryan and Chyna Fields added four points each to the Seahawk scoring effort.
