Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys couldn’t overcome a slow start in a 53-40 loss at St. Andrew’s on Tuesday.
The Eagles struggled to get going on offense in the first half and trailed 16-6 after one quarter and 23-9 at halftime. HHCA played the Lions even in the third quarter and outscored St. Andrew’s 20-19 in the final period.

Floyd Hargrove scored 17 points, and JP Peduzzi added seven for HHCA.
Reggie Sheppard scored 18 points and Kegan Kuring added 11 for the Lions.
