The honors continue to roll in for Hilton Head Christian Academy quarterback Hayden Shinn, who was one of eight players recognized as MaxPreps/USA Football Players of the Week following his performance in the SCISA 2A state championship game.
Shinn was named the Mid-Atlantic region Player of the Week after completing 23-of-40 passes for 415 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions in a 55-49 overtime loss to Trinity-Byrnes. He also had a team-high 106 rushing yards on seven carries.
Selected by USA Football, players are chosen based upon statistics that are submitted to MaxPreps. Each winner receives a certificate and a letterman patch to showcase the honor.
