Whale Branch will play host to five other teams for the Earl Campbell Preseason Basketball Tournament beginning tonight.
The Warriors will use both the new and old gyms to host the inaugural tournament, which is expected to expand to eight teams next season.
Play tips off at 6 p.m. Monday with Bridges vs. Allendale-Fairfax and Colleton County vs. Burke in the girls bracket. Bridges and Allendale-Fairfax will also square off in the boys bracket at 7:30 p.m., while Bluffton takes on Burke on the other side of the bracket.
The host Warriors and Ridgeland-Hardeeville each have first-round byes in both the boys and girls brackets.
The championship games are scheduled for 6 p.m. (girls) and 7:30 p.m. (boys) Wednesday.
