John Paul II’s girls knocked off the host team Monday to advance to the championship game of the St. Vincent’s Thanksgiving Tournament.
Taylor Michael led the Golden Warriors with 12 points, Jasmine Hamilton added 10 to go with six rebounds, and Tkai DeVore flirted with a triple-double with nine points, eight assists, and 15 rebounds.
JPII also continued its stifling defense, holding a third consecutive opponent under 35 points to start the season.
The Golden Warriors (3-0) will face Pinewood Christian in the championship game at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
