Thomas Heyward volleyball closed out the regular season with a sweep of Dorchester Academy on senior night Tuesday.
The Rebels rode the momentum of a quick start to a 3-0 (25-8, 25-22, 26-24) victory to finish the season with a 14-17 overall record.
THA had a strong night at the service line, as Keleigh Bowers was 18-for-19 with four aces, and Amelia Bonds and Bayli Belger added four aces apiece. Belger also had 20 digs and 12 assists, and Bowers contributed six kills and 12 digs.
Gracie Wade led the Rebels with seven kills and picked up 20 digs, and Brooklyn Guardino had five kills and 19 digs.
THA is a No. 4 seed in the SCISA 2A state tournament and faces top-seeded Palmetto Christian at noon Friday at the Myrtle Beach Sports Center.
