HSFB: Rebels rally after slow start

Thomas Heyward overcame a sluggish start to rally for a 36-14 road win over Spartanburg Christian on Friday. 

After getting stuck in traffic and arriving just 30 minutes before kickoff, the Rebels fell behind 14-0 early before turning it on and scoring 36 unanswered points. 

John Clark Tilton racked up 206 yards on 15 carries, and Peyton Bennett was 12-of-17 for 210 yards and three touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown for the Rebels. Bruzza Pusha had six catches for 106 yards and three TDs and added 62 yards and a touchdown on five rushes. Louie Smith had five catches for 92 yards.

The Rebels (7-1, 2-0) travel to Bethesda Academy for a pivotal region matchup next Friday.
