May River posted its third consecutive shutout, rolling to a 47-0 win over visiting Ridgeland-Hardeeville on Friday.
Melik Frost scored two rushing touchdowns, Rod Grant and Ahmad Green each added one score on the ground, and Green threw touchdown passes to Joseph Tapscott and Elijah Peter.
May River’s defense got in on the action with a safety, and Bryce Summers was perfect on extra points and booted a 38-yard field goal to make it 40-0 at halftime.
The Sharks (6-0, 2-0) travel to Beaufort High for a non-region game next Friday. The Jaguars (1-5, 0-1) host Battery Creek in a key Region 8-3A matchup.
