Thomas Heyward volleyball swept to a non-region win at St. Andrew’s on Thursday.
The Rebels won 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-17) behind a balanced effort. Keleigh Bowers led the Rebels with 14 kills, while Gracie Wade added six kills and 12 digs to go along with a 7-for-7 serving night, and Brooklyn Guardino served 11-for-11 and added four blocks.
THA’s setters played well, as Amelia Bonds was 14-of-16 serving with three aces and added 10 digs and 12 assists, and Bayli Belger went 13-for-14 with two aces, eight digs, and 11 assists.
The Rebels travel to region leader Hilton Head Christian Academy on Tuesday.
