Crosstown rivals Bluffton and May River split a pair of girls tennis matchups this week, with the Bobcats edging the Sharks on Tuesday and May River returning the favor a day later.
Phelan O’Keefe and Gianna Wilson followed up their singles wins by teaming up for a clinching victory at No. 1 doubles to give the Bobcats a 4-3 victory over the Sharks on Tuesday.
May River welcomed No. 4 player Grace Saari back to the lineup for the rematch, though, which helped the Sharks flip the result in their favor with a 5-1 win Wednesday.
The Sharks (7-7) travel to Hilton Head Christian Academy on Thursday. The Bobcats complete their regular-season schedule with a home match against Wade Hampton on Monday.
