Hilton Head High teammates Cole DeMarzo and Christian Miller were named to the South Carolina roster for the 2019 Shrine Bowl on Sunday.
The annual all-star game pitting the top senior football players from South Carolina versus their North Carolina counterparts will be played Dec. 21 at Wofford’s Gibbs Stadium.
Each state’s roster includes 44 players, and the Seahawk defensive standouts were the only area players selected for the Palmetto State squad.
DeMarzo, a 6-3, 205-pound safety/linebacker, committed to Michigan State last month.
Miller, a 5-10, 174-pound cornerback, recently announced via Twitter that he had trimmed his list of potential colleges to Colorado State, Florida International, Indiana, Liberty, and Toledo.
