HSFB: Jaguars Shut Down Estill

Ridgeland-Hardeeville picked up its first win of the season with a 39-0 rout of visiting Estill on Friday.

The Jaguars led 13-0 at halftime before breaking it open in the second half. Ridgeland-Hardeeville scored a pair of third-quarter touchdowns to make it 25-0, then tacked on two more scores in the fourth quarter.

Joseph Robinson rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns for the Jags, while Ky’Juan Swinton scored two touchdowns — on an 87-yard kickoff return and a 100-yard interception return — and Hamid Brown caught a 26-yard touchdown pass from Antonio Chaneyfield.

The Jaguars (1-1) travel to Bluffton next Friday.
