Beaufort High volleyball swept visiting New Hampstead in its home opener Wednesday.
The Eagles won 25-8, 25-7, 25-13 behind a balanced offensive attack. Hannah Merchant led the way with nine kills, while Angel Johnson added eight and Olive Renforth had six.
Beaufort travels to Savannah Christian Prep for a tri-match with the Raiders and Camden on Thursday.
