Hilton Head Christian Academy’s volleyball team swept a tri-match Monday, beating visiting South Effingham and Colleton Prep.
The Eagles swept South Effingham 2-0 (25-12, 25-19) behind nine kills, seven digs, and two aces from Ady O’Grady and 13 assists from Brielle McCarthy. Lauryn Qualls added three kills, five digs, and two aces, and Dior Shelton had two kills and three blocks.
O’Grady had an even bigger game in a 2-0 (25-11, 25-19) win over Colleton Prep, as she collected 13 kills, three blocks, three digs, and two aces. Qualls added four kills, three aces, and four digs, while Shelton had three kills, three digs, and a block. Abby Peduzzi had two kills and four digs, and Kate Booth added two blocks, four digs, and three kills.
The Eagles (3-1) host another tri-match Thursday against Islands (Ga.) and Beaufort Academy.
