HSFB: Local Teams Recognized In Preseason Polls

One area team will open the high school football season ranked in the top 10, while two more received top-10 votes in the initial S.C. Prep Football Media Poll of the season.

May River checked in at No. 6 in the Class 3A rankings, while Bluffton (4A) and Whale Branch (2A) received votes. The poll is voted on by members of the media throughout the state who regularly cover high school football.
