Bryson Nimmer can check another thing off his to-do list — first paycheck.
The Hilton Head Christian Academy and Clemson alumnus tied for 14th in his professional debut at the Mackenzie Tour’s Bayview Place DCBank Open over the weekend in Victoria, British Columbia, earning a $3,600 payday.
After opening with a round of 2-over-par 72, Nimmer rebounded with a 5-under 65 in the second round to make the cut. He shot even-par 70 in the third round before closing with another 65 to charge up the leaderboard.
Nimmer is scheduled to play in the Web.com Tour’s BMW Charity Pro-Am this weekend in Greer.
