HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Blank JPII, Clinch Region Title

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys wrapped up the SCISA Region 1-2A title with a 2-0 win over visiting John Paul II on Wednesday. 

After a scoreless first half, the Eagles broke through when JP Peduzzi finished a cross from Josue Hurtado in the 63rd minute. Peduzzi added a second goal six minutes later when he pounced on a rebound.

HHCA (9-4-1, 3-1) wraps up the regular season at home against Pinewood Prep at 7 p.m. Friday. JPII (10-11-1, 0-4) has finished the regular season and awaits the release of the SCISA 2A playoff brackets.
