HS Soccer: HHCA Girls Earn Season Split With JPII

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s girls picked up a key region victory with a 4-1 home win over John Paul II on Tuesday.

Sydney Desimone scored two goals, and Sydney Camp and Abigail Scott each added one for the Eagles.

Katie Leigh Floyd scored the lone goal for the Golden Warriors to tie the match midway through the first half, but the Eagles pulled away from there to split the season series with JPII.

HHCA (7-7-1, 5-3) hosts Pinewood Prep for a non-region game at 5 p.m. Friday. JPII (13-4-2) has concluded its regular season and awaits its postseason fate.
