HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Fall To Windsor Forest

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys fell 3-2 to visiting Windsor Forest on Thursday in their final tuneup before region play.

Windsor Forest struck first and quickly added a second goal for a 2-0 advantage before Josue Hurtado scored on a free kick to pull the Eagles within 2-1 at halftime.

After the Knights added another goal, Hurtado bent in a serve from the corner to pull HHCA within one, but the Eagles couldn’t find the equalizer.

HHCA (6-4) opens region play at home against rival Hilton Head Prep at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
