HS Soccer: HHCA Boys Break Through Vs. Savannah Arts

Hilton Head Christian Academy’s boys gave one of their best all-around efforts of the season to snap a three-game winless streak with a 2-1 win at Savannah Arts on Saturday.

After a scoreless first half in which HHCA goalie Lukas O’Grady turned away several shots, Clay Corkern scored on a long strike to get the Eagles on the board. Carson Webster added a goal on a penalty, and the Eagles held on after giving up the shutout late in the game.

HHCA (5-3-0) hosts Calvary Day for a non-region game at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
