Bluffton’s bats went cold late after a quick start as Wade Hampton pulled away for an 11-4 win over the visiting Bobcats on Thursday.
Jayla Quick got things going early for the Bobcats with a two-run single in the top of the first, and Reagan Kelly added a two-run double in the second to tie it at 4.
Wade Hampton’s Bryson Moore blanked the Bobcats the rest of the way, though, and the Red Devils scored in four consecutive innings to take control.
Bluffton travels to Beaufort High for the finale of a three-game Region 7-4A series at 7 p.m. Friday.
