May River’s tennis team claimed four of the five singles courts to earn a 4-2 win over Hilton Head Christian Academy on Thursday.
The key win for the Sharks came from No. 2 singles player Dominic Rodriguez, who won a super-tiebreaker over Camden Lutes to help May River clinch the win without having to play a deciding No. 1 doubles match.
May River (2-1) hosts Hilton Head Prep on Tuesday. HHCA (0-3) is off until hosting Hilton Head High on April 4.
